Hot off the presses from the fine folks at BlockShopper comes word of Jeopardy TV Game Show host,  Alex Trebek's, sale of a second home in Studio City.

Alex Trebek is widely known for playing the TV show host of Jeopardy since 1984. Additionally he hosted other TV and game shows including cameo appearances in a variety of TV shows and Movies mostly as the game show host of....take a big guess here....Jeopardy.

Alex Trebek sold his second home on December 2, 2011 for $1,640,000. According to the property records, the home consists of 4 Beds/5 Baths on 4,068sqft on a total lot size of 28,540sqft which was built in 1959.

There is very limited information about this transaction as there are no pictures or listing information which suggests that this was possibly a "pocket listing" or simply sold to a friend. Maybe Alex Trebek was trying to save on realtor commissions. Also, there is no information on when this home was first purchased which may suggest that it was probably purchased sometime in the 80's or 90's. There is no indication of the purpose of this home which could have been used by family, friends, investment, etc.

This home is literally next door to Alex Trebek's longtime main home in Studio City which was purchased in August 1991.
